Cookie policy

Version 2026-11-02. This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used by sarif.es, the Sarif dashboard and stores created with Sarif.

What we use

Sarif uses technical cookies and local storage that are needed for the service to work and don’t require your consent. Stores only use advertising cookies (the Meta Pixel) if the merchant turns it on and after you accept in the store’s cookie notice.

• Dashboard session (browser local storage, sb-…-auth-token): keeps you signed in until you sign out.
• Store preview (cookie sarif_preview): lets a store’s team see it before publishing. Lasts a few hours.
• Cart (local storage, sarif-cart:…): remembers the products in each store’s cart until you empty it or clear your browser data.
• Preferences (local or session storage): for example your language or notices already seen.
• Cookie notice (sarif_consent_site cookie on Sarif and sarif_consent_… in each store): remembers that you saw the notice or your choice. Lasts 6 months; then we show it again.

Cookie-free statistics

Stores count visits without cookies and without identifying people: the page viewed, approximate country, device type and referring website, in aggregate.

Third-party cookies in stores

If a merchant turns on the Meta Pixel (Facebook, Instagram) in their store, the store shows a notice so you can accept or reject those cookies; your choice is kept in the sarif_consent_… cookie for 6 months and you can change it at any time from the “Cookies” link in the store footer. If a merchant adds other third-party services (for example PayPal at checkout or embedded videos), those services may set their own cookies; the merchant is responsible for informing visitors about them.

How to control them

You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you do, you may need to sign in again and your cart may be emptied.
